Major drug haul off Lakshadweep coast; 218 kg Heroin worth ₹1526 CR seized

Big success for the Indian Coast Guards and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence as they hunted down 2 ships off the Lakshadweep coast in a major drug bust. As part of their joint 'Operation Khojbeen', 2 boats namely Prince and Little Jesus were chased and apprehended. 218 kg of 'high-grade' heroin worth ₹1526 crore was recovered. 20 people onboard the two boats have been arrested and further investigation is underway.
