Mamata snubs Guv; Assembly okays bill to replace CM as Chancellor of varsities

• The fierce faceoff between Bengal Governor and Mamata Banerjee has reignited yet again. This after West Bengal Assembly passed the bill to make Mamata Banerjee chancellor of all state-run universities. Mamata Banerjee will be replacing the Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. Bengal Leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari has opposed the bill and said that Mamata's dream will remain unfulfilled. Governor Dhankar too has called it a diversionary tactic to shield school recruitment scam under Mamata. Bengal is the first state to bring any such legislation. Watch this report to know more
