Modi-Putin ‘defence bonhomie’: Brahmos eyes $5 bn worth supersonic missile order

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the target of achieving USD 5 billion in defence exports by 2025. BrahMos Aerospace Chairman Atul D Rane said that they are hoping for orders from Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia under the venture. The India-Russia joint arms venture with a 50.5% Indian and 49.5% Russian partnership, fits into PM Modi's flagship make-in-India programme.
