- It's confirmed that India & Pakistan don't have a planned meeting in Samarkand. This as leaders of both countries will be in the same room for the SCO Summit. PM Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart, Shehbaz Sharif, may exchange greetings at the Uzbekistan summit, but beyond that, a bilateral shift is not on the cards yet. Notably, Indian and Pakistani PMs will be on one platform after three years. Due to strained ties, both countries have never held direct bilateral talks at the SCO since they became part of this grouping in 2017. Watch this report to know more.
