Mumbai woman kills husband, buries body at home, as per cops; arrested now

• A 28-year-old woman allegedly killed her husband with help of her paramour in Mumbai. Police said the woman buried his body inside her house in western suburb of Dahisar. The woman, identified as Rasheeda Sheikh, was arrested during the day. According to police, the woman's paramour Amit Mishra was absconding. The incident took place in Rawal Pada locality of Dahisar (east) 12 days ago. The accused allegedly slit victim Raees Sheikh's throat with a sharp weapon. Police said the incident happened in front of the victim's minor daughter. Accused reportedly buried victim's body in the woman's room & went on with their lives. The deceased used to work as a salesman in a clothing store. On May 25, the victim's neighbour registered a missing person's complaint. Matter came to light after victim's brother reached latter's home & his niece broke down. Police further added that they are in the process of recovering the body.
