North India facing 3°C frigid winters? 'La Nina' impact explained

La Nina, a weather phenomenon that delivers harsher winters is on its way to hit Asia. The weather phenomenon is also expected to add to Asia’s energy crisis. North India could witness temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius in January & February. Key coal mining regions suffered severe flooding in recent months due to heavy rains. It triggered a squeeze on fuel used to produce about 70% of India’s electricity. India has been already witnessing extreme weather conditions in the past few weeks. Several other Asian countries are likely to witness harsh winters due to the La Nina pattern. Watch the full video for more.
