SpiceJet in hot water after mid-air snags; DGCA cuts flights
Published on Jul 27, 2022 09:10 pm IST
- DGCA has ordered budget airline SpiceJet to operate only 50% of its flights for eight weeks. The unprecedented crackdown comes after an unusually high number of safety incidents involving the airline in recent days. "Any increase in the number of departures beyond 50 per cent" would be subject to the airline's compliance with the DGCA norms. SpiceJet said this would have no impact on its flights in the lean travel season and no flights would be cancelled. Watch this report to know more.
