Pak Army officer among 5 soldiers killed as Afghan-based terrorists mount attack

• Five Pakistani soldiers were killed during an exchange of fire with terrorists. According to the Inter-Services Publication Relations (ISPR), the soldiers were killed in the Boyya area of North Waziristan region in Pakistan. The media wing of Pak army also said that 4 terrorists were neutralised in the gunfight. The operation in Waziristan comes at a time when incidents of attacks on Pak forces have been rising in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Reportedly, these militants have their bases in Afghanistan. These terrorists apparantly enter Pakistan from Afghanistan & after launching attacks, they retreat to their bases in Afghanistan. Watch this report for more.
