Pokhran: India successfully tests Pinaka rocket system; Firepower boost for Army

• The DRDO is running trials of its Pinaka extended range rocket weapon systems at Rajasthan's Pokhran firing range. Multiple successful tests of indigenously developed rockets for the Army have already been conducted. A 28-second slow-motion video uploaded by ANI showed one such test. The test fire today took place in the presence of Army and DRDO officers. The 15 feet long missile of Advance Navigation and Control System destroyed the target as per the prescribed standard.
