Pune faces rain wrath; Gushing water enters homes, submerges vehicles | Watch

• Heavy rains lash Pune leaving several areas completely waterlogged. Gushing water was seen entering inside several houses & inundating them. Vehicles were also seen submerged in several parts of the city as the heavy downpour turned most roads into rivers. This happened reportedly after intense rains for just two hours. Traffic too came to a halt in some areas due to waterlogged roads. The Meteorological Department has issued an 'orange' alert in Pune for over the next 2 days. IMD said the heavy rainfall was due to the prevailing depression over Odisha, adding that downpour is expected to continue till September 15. Watch this report for more.
