Indian officials were given consular access for the second time to eight former Indian Navy personnel detained in Qatar on unspecified charges, with the external affairs ministry saying it is pursuing the case for the speedy release of the men. The eight men, who were working for Dahra Global Technologies and Consultancy Services, a private firm owned by a former Oman Air Force officer that provides training and other services to Qatar’s armed forces, have been detained for nearly four months.
