A day after deadly suicide bombing rocked Kabul Airport and left dozens dead, India's Ministry of External Affairs has said that majority of Indian nationals have been evacuated from Afghanistan. The MEA said that six Indian evacuation flights have brought back 550 people so far from Kabul. However, the MEA said that there might be more Indians in Afghanistan wishing to come back to India. It said that due to bad security situation, 20 Indians could not make it to the evacuation flight last evening. Asked whether India will recognise the Taliban regime, the MEA said it would be premature to say anything as there is no clarity over who government formation in Afghanistan.
