‘Their sons guard our borders’: Priyanka Gandhi on PM Modi’s ‘parijeevi’ remark

• Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the farmers’ protests against the farm laws passed by the Centre. She said that while the Prime Minister goes all around the world, he has not yet found time to go and meet the farmers protesting at the borders of the capital. Priyanka Gandhi said that the Prime Minister insulted and made fun of the protesting farmers by calling them ‘parijeevi’ in Parliament. She reminded the Prime Minister that the sons of those who are now protesting against the farm laws are guarding India’s borders and demanded that the farm laws be withdrawn.
