A Congress MLA has landed into controversy after a video of him assaulting a man went viral. Joginder Pal, MLA from Punjab's Bhoa in Pathankot, was reportedly questioned over work done in the area. Punjab Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said the MLA shouldn't have behaved in this way. In the video, Pal is seen addressing a small gathering inside what looks like a tent. As camera pans, a young man can be heard muttering even as the Congress leader speaks. The video shows a police official taking the man by the arm & trying to lead him away. The man, however, continues to quiz the Congress MLA who then asks him to come to him. Pal then hands over the microphone to the man before launching a few blows on his head. The MLA, his two security personnel thrashed the youth & he was taken outside of the venue.
