Two wrist watches worth ₹5 crore were seized from Hardik Pandya at Mumbai airport. Custom officials seized the watches from Pandya when he was returning from Dubai after the team was knocked out in the T20 World Cup. Officials said that he neither had a bill for them nor did he declare them as custom items. Later, Hardik Pandya denied all the charges and issued a statement on Twitter. Hardik wrote, "I had voluntarily declared all the items that I'd lawfully purchased from Dubai and was ready to pay whatever duties that needed to be paid.” He further added, "The cost of the watch is approximately ₹ 1.5 crore and not ₹ 5 crore as per the rumours floating around on social media.” Watch the full video for more.
