India and U.S armies hold joint military exercise as part of 'exercise yudh abhyas 2021' in Alaska. A 350-member contingent of the Indian army is participating in the joint military exercise with their American counterparts. The exercise is aimed at enhancing understanding, cooperation & interoperability between India and U.S and is focused on 'combined arms manoeuvres' in cold climatic conditions.
