Watch: Elderly man in Mumbai escapes death after driver halts train in time

A senior citizen crossing tracks at a railway station in Maharashtra narrowly escaped death. The drivers of a Mumbai-Varanasi train applied brakes in the nick of time. The incident took place at Kalyan station around 12.45 pm on July 18. Hari Shankar (70) who was crossing the tracks, fell and got stuck under the train. Chief Permanent Way Inspector (CPWI) Santosh Kumar cautioned the loco pilots who immediately applied breaks and pulled up the elderly man from under the train. Watch the full video for more.
