Watch: India, Bangladesh border forces mark Eid-al-Adha by exchanging sweets

- BSF personnel exchanged sweets with Border Guard Bangladesh on Eid al-Adha. BSF South Bengal Frontier took the initiative to greet BGB on the religious event. BSF & Border Guard Bangladesh guard the 4,096 kilometre India-Bangladesh border. They exchanged greetings at Pertrapole Integrated Check Post & other Border Outposts. The border guarding forces of India & Bangladesh share cordial & congenial relations. The exchange of sweets between these two forces comes as a goodwill gesture. It has been a tradition between the two forces to exchange sweets on festive occasions. Eid al-Adha is one of the two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year.
