Basavaraj Bommai sworn in as Karnataka CM; touches BSY’s feet after taking oath

- Basavaraj Bommai took oath as the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka after he was elected by the BJP legislature on 27 July. Bommai succeeds BS Yediyurappa, who resigned in an emotional ceremony after 2 years in power. Bommai arrived at his oath-taking ceremony with Yediyurappa and touched his feet after taking the oath. Just like Yediyurappa, Bommai too belongs to the Lingayat community of Karnataka. Watch the full video for more details.
