Yogi Govt's Madrasa Survey irks Owaisi; 'Systematic targeting of Muslims'

A survey of madrasas in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur has turned into a big political flashpoint. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi accuses the Yogi government of "conspiracy" and "systematic targeting of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh" in response to the survey. Owaisi asked the state government why no survey of Hindu Endowments Board properties was being done. The survey of madrasas in Kanpur started on September 20. According to an order issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, the survey of madrasas in the city will be based on several aspects concerning the students. Watch this report for more.
