2018 Commonwealth Games: Shooting, badminton, table tennis add to gold haul

India won medals in different disciplines at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games on April 9. In all, Indian athletes won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals from shooting, table tennis, badminton and weighlifting. Jitu Rai won the gold in 10m air pistol with one silver and two bronze coming from other Indian shooters. Indian men won the team gold in table tennis and India won its first ever gold in badminton mixed team event. Weightlifter Pardeep Singh gave its second silver of the day. India is now at the number three spot in medals tally.
