- Pakistan's policy on terror has now backfired on the Imran Khan government. Pakistan has pleaded to the United Nations for help in stopping cross border terrorism emanating from Afghanistan soil. In his statement to the UNSC, Umer Siddique, a Pak diplomat said "UNSC listed terrorist entities [TTP & JuA] have carried out hundreds of cross-border terrorist attacks against Pakistani military & civilian targets from Afghanistan thru external support. We would like to pay homage to all these victims of terrorism." Pakistan's move comes amid attacks on its army men at camps in Balochistan. Banned group TTP has taken responsibility for these terror attacks. Watch this video to know more.
