Azhar expresses displeasure over Eden Gardens fiasco

Echoing sentiments of scores of Indians, Former Indian Cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin on Wednesday, expressed his disappointment at the decision of the International Cricket Council (ICC) to shift venue of a world cup match from the Eden Gardens stadium. Deeming it as an unfortunate decision, Azharuddin urged the authorities to take action to resolve the simmering row at the earliest. The tournament commencing on February 19 will attract huge crowds, as the best international players will compete in a total of 49 matches.
