French World Cup winning footballers have been sharing their own footage on social media of their open top bus victory parade in Paris. A vast crowd gathered in the centre of the French capital on Monday to welcome back the champions. The team took a victory lap down the Champs-Elysees, the grand Paris avenue where hundreds of thousands had thronged since France's 4-2 victory over Croatia in Sunday's World Cup final. For a third day in a row, the avenue was transformed into a boulevard of pride and happiness following a Bastille Day parade of French military might on Saturday that, in hindsight, was a preview for the elation of France's World Cup win.
