about the video

Virat Kohli’s love affair with South Africa continued ever since he stepped foot in the country. Although he faced a tough time in the start of the tour with India losing the first two Test matches against the Proteas. Ajinkya Rahane remained the focal point of the discussion whenever Virat Kohli went to speak at the press conference. So much so that in one such instance he asked the a media personnel to tell him what is the best playing eleven for India and he’ll play that. In the last Test match at Jo’Berg, India won the test match at a pitch that wasn’t considered fit enough to play cricket by many experts. But Virat Kohli continued to score centuries even though India went down 2-1 in the series. But come the ODIs, Kohli was in a different league than any cricketer. He became the first cricketer in the world to score more than 500 runs in a bilateral series. He ran 100 runs in the knock of 160* making another case in point of his fitness. Not only that Kohli is just 14 centuries short of the landmark of Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 centuries. But his form took a slight dip in the 3 match T20 series and he wasn’t able to get through to 1000 runs in a tour. It would’ve made him the only second cricketer in the world to do so after Sir Viv Richards. But that cannot take away the fact that Kohli has only enhanced his reputation in the South African tour of 2018 like no other Indian cricketer. What do you think?
