Biden Wants To Arm Israel With David's Sling To Counter Hamas' Rockets; Tells U.S. Senate To 'Hurry'

The U.S. President has told senators to send a new bill to boost wartime aid for Israel and Ukraine, worth $118 billion, to his table immediately so that he can sign it into a law immediately. The deal would provide $14.1 billion in military aid to Israel including $4 bn for Israel’s “Iron Dome and David’s Sling defense systems to counter short-range rocket threats.” But the bill could face resistance from some democrats due to the provision of more military aid for Israel since it is under mounting pressure over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
