Brexit: UK formally leaves the European Union, supporters celebrate

Brexit supporters celebrated in central London as the UK officially left the European Union. Thousands of Brexit supporters gathered outside the UK Parliament. “Finally. The country actually got together, got behind it and said 'no.' We voted, democracy won and it's a great victory for democracy and that's what all this is about,” said a brexit supporter from Leicestershire. However, some feel that the exit is not going to go well. A remain supporter said, “It's going to go down in the history books. It's a massive massive night. Yeah. Onwards and upwards now. We could still deal with Europe, but we're not tied to anyone and I think that that's very important to a lot of these people here tonight.”
