In Israeli desert, researchers simulate life on Mars

Six Israeli scientists successfully pulled off four days of isolation in Israel's Negev desert, that's as close as they can get to Martian conditions. The objective was to test out equipment and gather data that could be used to plan a future manned mission to the Red Planet.
