Pakistan accused of human rights violation and harbouring terrorism in Geneva convention
In a convention in Geneva, Paulo Casaca, an ex-parliamentarian who was also a part of European Union (EU) accused Pakistan of harbouring terrorism and violation of human rights. This comes after the case of Mashal Khan made headlines around the world and blasphemy laws of the country were appealed to be changed. Casaca was speaking in the 37th session of United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. He also blasted Pakistan with how despite the laws being in place, they haven't been able to do anything to curb terrorism around the world. He has raised eyeballs on the part of EU too on not keeping a close tab on Pakistan for human rights violation.
