Putin's Min Blasts US, UK For Targeting Houthis; Lavrov Says, 'Russia Agrees With Yemeni Friends'

Russian foreign minister came down heavily on the U.S., UK's retaliatory attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen. "We do not condone the shelling of commercial ships, no matter how these shellings are justified. But we also cannot condone the aggressive actions that, under this pretext, the United States and Great Britain are taking against the territory of the Republic of Yemen, without having any international mandate for this," said Sergei Lavrov while addressing a press conference alongside Yemen's PM. Lavrov added that Russia agrees with its 'Yemeni friends' on ensuring the safety of the international shipping route.
