Russia is using a new tactic at the frontline in a bid to win the war it waged against Ukraine back in February 2022. For the first time, Ukrainian soldiers have admitted to have spotted decoy flares (heat traps) being fired by Russian missiles during the war. One soldier told AFP that these heat traps were creating problems for the U.S.-supplied Stinger MANPADS. Another commander urged the West to send more weapons fearing a prolonged war with Russia.
