Taiwan forces Qatar to remove China reference on FIFA World Cup identity card

- Taiwan objected strongly to Qatar's move after it listed as a 'province of China' in an online application form ahead of this year's FIFA World Cup and forced it rectify the 'error'. This after the dropdown menu on the website to apply for Hayya card had showed 'Taiwan, Province of China'. The listing had angered Taiwanese officials who then requested organisers to change the name to 'Taiwan' following which Qatar rectified the 'error'. Watch this video to know more.
