Pakistan will deploy 3,500 police and troops to guard former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto - exiled in Dubai and London - when she returns to the country this week, amid Islamic extremists' threats to her life. According to sources the elaborate security arrangements are being made after a court ruled that Bhutto be provided maximum protection. Since last month, a pro-Taliban militant leader Baitullah Mahsud has pledged to target her with suicide attacks.
