Devyani eligible for diplomatic immunity: lawyer

Despite the US state Department saying that she does not have a diplomatic immunity stating that the Vienna convention on consular relations does not cover personal actions of the diplomats, lawyer of India's deputy consul Devyani Khobragade has claimed otherwise. Devyani has been accused of lying on the visa application for an Indian national who worked for her for less than four dollars an hour, violating US norms.
