Ghana floods claim 20 lives

At least 20 people have been killed and 2, 60,000 others have been affected due to flooding caused by incessant rains in August and September in Ghana. Upper east, upper west, and northern regions are largely affected due to the rising water levels. Ghana's government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas. A government-led rapid assessment team, including representatives, was visiting the areas worst hit on Tuesday.
