Musharraf asks Bhutto to delay her return

Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf said in comments broadcast on a private news channel on Wednesday that former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto should delay her planned return next week to Pakistan. Bhutto is scheduled to fly back home on October 18 after living eight years in self-exile. Musharraf said Bhutto should wait until the Supreme Court ruled on the legality of last Saturday's controversial election in which he swept most votes.
