Musharraf denies secretly backing Taliban

Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on Monday angrily denied playing a double game by supporting the Taliban while taking money from the United States to fight them when he was in power. The former army chief, who was forced to step down last August, launched a tirade against a New York Times journalist, over allegations of Pakistani duplicity in a recently released book.
