Nepal awaits results of elections

Cars and buses are back on the streets of Nepal as life returned to normal across the country following the historic polls. The results for one constituency had been announced in Kathmandu, where the Nepali Congress Party trounced the Nepali Communist Party (United Marxist Leninist) candidate. But for the rest of Nepal, election officials are working round the clock to manually tally ballot papers.
