Pak protesters torch US flags

Pakistani Muslims, angered over the burning of Korans at a Nato base last month in Afghanistan, protested in Karachi. Holding banners and party flags, the protesters set a US flag on fire while shouting, "Any friend of America is a traitor". Despite the apology from US President Barack Obama, the damaging of Korans at Bagram air base has ignited a wave of anti-Western fury across the region. At least 30 people have been killed in the protests in Afghanistan over the row and two US officers have been killed in an attack since the incident.
