Two dead in Nepal bomb blasts

At least two people were killed and more than two dozen others injured on Sunday in a series of near-simultaneous explosions across Nepal's capital Kathmandu, a year after the Maoists signed a peace pact with the government and ended their violent guerrilla war. The attacks came less than three months before the impoverished nation votes to elect a new constituent assembly to decide the fate of the monarchy, the Maoists want abolished.
