- The BJP, which has been targeting the Samajwadi Party for nepotism and giving tickets to family members of its own politicians is now being criticised for the same. Two instances have now come to the fore, where the BJP gave tickets to sons and wives of their own leaders in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the focus has also shifted to over 80 reserved seats in the state. As per past experience and data, whichever political party won the majority of these seats formed the government in the state. The same is true for 3 past elections, where BSP won in 2007, SP in 2012 and the BJP in 2017. Watch this video for more details.
