Candace Owens has dropped a fresh bombshell accusation related to Charlie Kirk's death. The former Turning Point USA member's remarks came during her show, and Owens spoke about the security at the Utah Valley University event where Kirk was shot. The TPUSA founder was fatally shot when attending an event at UVU on September 10.

Owens has now alleged that the university had suggested to TPUSA that the event be held indoors, but TPUSA allegedly wanted it to take place outside.
What Candace Owens has alleged
Owens said on her show that she'd learnt that after UVU showed multiple options inside and outside, they allegedly recommended that TPUSA not hold the event outside in the amphitheater. She continued that UVU had allegedly said it was not a good idea to hold it outside for safety reasons, as they couldn't shut the area down or control people's movement.

Owens continued that having been a part of such events in the past, it was surprising for her to see that TPUSA chose an external location, since it meant that anyone could walk into the event. She spoke about how having the event indoors would have ensured greater safety – students' tickets could have been checked, there might have been cameras turned towards the crowd. Owens also alleged that it was TPUSA who'd insisted on holding the event outside.

Notably, Owens has had numerous conspiracy theories in the wake of Kirk's assassination, some of which have pointed fingers at Israel and TPUSA's hands in the killing. However, the 36-year-old has not provided any proof to back these claims. HT.com could not independently verify the claims made here.
On the fateful day, Kirk was sitting inside a tent, at the event when the bullet struck him. The outside venue allowed the shooter clear access from a roof to make the fatal shot. A Utah native, Tyler Robinson, aged 22, has been arrested and charged with murder in the killing of Charlie Kirk.
