Kate Middleton is finally ‘cancer free’ after…
After finishing chemotherapy, Kate Middleton is now dedicated to maintaining her health.
After completing chemotherapy, Kate Middleton is shifting her attention to maintaining her health and wellness.
Kensington Palace posted a video message of Kate expressing gratitude that the challenging treatment phase is behind her, describing the past nine months as an “incredibly tough” and “scary” experience for her and her loved ones. ““As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she said.
With this chapter closed, she's now prioritizing her long-term health, stating, “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus.”
“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
Kate Middleton opens up about ‘tough’ cancer journey
The video included personal moments from Kate’s life over the summer, showing her family enjoying time outdoors. Prince William and their three children are seen walking through wooded areas, having picnics, playing in sand dunes, and splashing in the sea. The footage was filmed last month in Norfolk, England, where the family spent time together during Kate’s recovery.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate said in the video. “The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”
Then, the Princess of Wales shared how the ordeal has made her and William more appreciative of the simple joys in life. “This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”
She mentioned she will be “undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can” and will be careful not to overextend herself. Kensington Palace also reflects the same sentiment, as one palace insider told People, “It’s good not to feel under pressure and just take her time and have slow days if she needs to.”

“William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.
To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright,” she concluded.
