A Ukrainian man has sparked outrage after a video of him swinging his daughter like a rag doll recently went viral on social media, with many calling his antics “child abuse”.

In the four-minute video, the man can be seen standing in a wooden area swirling his daughter in the air while she squeals with fright.

“Astronauts do this exercise during their training,” he says as he hurls her from side to side and throws her around by one leg.

“Her bones are popping. She feels good,” he tells the camera.

The video titled “The smallest world champion in gymnastics” was flooded with comments and many expressed shock over his action.

“What an idiot!” one user commented.

“Reported to Youtube for child abuse,” wrote another.
