KABUL: At least 13 civilians were killed in an airstrike that hit a residential house in the Achin district of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, said an Afghan official. A spokesperson for the provincial police chief said Islamic State group loyalists were the target. The spokesperson for the US military in Afghanistan confirmed the attack.
