Eleven people including at least six members of the security forces were killed on Saturday in an attack on Yemeni intelligence headquarters in the southern port of Aden, medics said.

During the attack by a group of armed men, an unknown number of prisoners suspected of being members of Al-Qaeda were also set free, local officials said.
Medics reported that one of the dead was a woman cleaner in the building housing the intelligence services in the Al-Tawahi district of the city near the port.
