Fifteen militants were killed and 10 injured when security forces pounded militant hideouts in Pakistan's tribal area of Orakzai Agency near the Afghanistan border.
Security sources said military jets targeted the dens in Dabori, Khadizai, Mamozai and Mulla Badai areas in upper Orakzai, killing 15 militants and injuring 10, Geo TV reportedon Thursday.

More than 1,400 militants have been killed so far and 170 hideouts destroyed during military operation against militants in the area in the last three months.
