Reddy, 26, from Hyderabad, was stabbed in the neck, chest and abdomen several times and thrown out of the apartment where he lived in Britain’s Hampshire county, the Daily Mail reported on Sunday. Son of a real estate dealer, he is currently in Royal London Hospital in a critical condition, according to Scotland Yard.

Family gets visas
Meanwhile, Reddy’s father Sudhakar and an uncle have got visas in Chennai to go to London. They will leave for the UK on Sunday night. According to Indian officials, Reddy’s condition continues to be monitored and another surgery may be needed, he said.
External affairs minister SM Krishna had spoken to Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday, assuring him of all help in getting visas.
The external affairs minister also spoke to acting high commissioner Rajesh Prasad, asking him to extend all possible help to the family.
