An earthquake of 6.0 magnitude struck off Pakistan's coast on Friday, the US Geological Survey said on its website.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles) and struck around 300 km (190 miles) west of Karachi at 2.40 am (2240 GMT).
