Fifteen people have been killed in a coal mine blast in northern China, state media reported on Saturday, in the latest accident to hit the notoriously dangerous industry.
The explosion happened at about 2:40 am (1840 GMT) at the Liugou coal mine near Linfen city in the northern province of Shanxi, the official Xinhua news agency said, citing an official at the local coal mine safety bureau.
